Flying Weiner Dog

Craig and I are always joking to each other about how Amigo thinks he is a cat. He likes to climb on the top of furniture and has an insane vertical for a little miniature dachshund. We also have witnessed him jumping off of places that no dog should ever attempt landing directly on his feet always. So, Saturday we decided to take him out back and test him out. Craig would throw him in the air flipping him around to see if he could land on his feet. Not to our surprise each time we threw him in the air he managed to flip himself around to land on his feet. What entertainment, let me tell you!

Another one of our favorites.
I have been wanting to put picture frames up on the wall near our stairs for some time now but have never been able to bring myself to purchase the frames to hang some of our pictures up. My visiting teacher Missy encouraged me to go to Goodwill and look for any frame that I liked, bring it home and then spray paint it. WHAT A GENIUS IDEA, how did I not think of that. So, Craig and I went to Goodwill and picked out some frames that we liked, went home and spray painted them.
I cut my finger on a piece of glass. OUCH!
It is so nice to have another item checked off of our to-do list.

Best Friends "Forever"

Throughout our growing in the church there has always been one man who has touched our lives and made an imprint on our hearts, President Barney. Never have I met a man with such great love for others. He inspired us, loved us, and encouraged us to constantly live righteously. He was always willing to help us in any way he could, he truly has touched our lives forever. After my friends and I were baptized we met President Barney and he asked us about our conversion story. We shared with him how all of us had been friends since middle school and all of us had found the gospel together. He told us to write out our story of how we all came unto the church together and to submit it to him. After he passed away, I took our story that we submitted to him and submitted it to the New Era. So, here it is! In next months New Era, our story will be shared. I wanted to post it so that our family members and friends could see it, since not all of them are members or know how to get the New Era.

Thank you President Barney for touching so many lives.

The World's Best Husband Award Goes To...

Craig and Bryce
Yesterday was a holiday for these two boys, no work and no school. So, they spent the day doing various activities. Including, making a romantic dinner for their hard working wives. I must say it is strange having a job and working while my husband gets to sleep in, but I enjoy it. But wait, here comes the best part. Not only did they make us dinner, but they did the DISHES! Thanks for a wonderful night boys!

22nd Birthday!

On Wednesday my friend Tiffani and I had our birthday dinner with all our girlfriends at Olive and Ivy. Tiffani's birthday was Sunday (January 10) and mine was on Thursday (January 14). So like always, we celebrated our birthdays together. It is always so much fun to get together with all my friends that I have not seen in awhile. If there is one thing I miss about single life its sleep overs with the girls. I miss my friends so much but I am thankful that I have remained BEST FRIENDS with the same girls since 6th grade and I love that our group of friends continues to grow.
Ashley and I! She is getting married March 6!! I can't wait for her to join the married group!
Hovik sisters and I
Cutest sisters everMy lovely Sara Waddell. I don't know what I would do without her in my life. Talk about an amazing example and someone to strive to be like. She has such a strong testimony and has always been an example to me.Birthday girlies!I love my face in this, I look like I would rather blow out Tiffani's candle.

Now to the most entertaining part of the night... We had just finished paying the bill when this lovely man walks into our room. He starts off by telling us how beautiful we are and how he loves seeing us have so much fun. I had to take a picture of him because he was hilarious. He started doing his model pose. Then as he was leaving he walked around the table and kissed every girl on the top of the head. When he got to Sara I told him that she was having a hard day and needed a lot of extra love, HE TRIED TO KISS HER! ha ha Poor Sara, we are always doing things like that to her. (Side story about Sara, our freshman year of college when ever Tiff, Cat, or I would get asked our numbers we would always give people Sara's. She has always been such a good sport about it to).
Thank you for the entertainment Mr. Whoever you are.

Birthdays, Las Vegas style!

Since Craig and I have birthdays that are 5 days apart my parents gave us a joint gift this year, a weekend in Las Vegas. They got us a room on the top floor with an amazing view of the strip! We had such a fun time, with so many different things to do! The first night we got there we went out to eat and then went to a show. We went to see Frank Caliendo, he is a comedian and an impressionist. He was hilarious and did the best impressions!

On Saturday, Craig's birthday, we walked around the strip all day long and ventured in and out of different parts. I love just walking up and down the strip, looking at all the amazing details in all the buildings.

There was a man who was carrying around a lizard and he literally threw it into my moms hands. ha ha. Then he kept telling me to get in for the picture but I do not like reptiles all that much, as you can tell by my face. So I was able to finally squeeze out a fake smile just so we could keep going.
For Craig's birthday he wanted Mexican food, so after searching we found this place. It was probably the best Mexican food I have ever had, I loved it so much and everything smelled amazing. Good choice Craig.
Later that night we went to downtown Las Vegas to see the light show that they have on Fremont Street. It is a giant screen that covers the major walkway and they project different movies and videos on it throughout the night. Then we headed back to our hotel and the boys got milkshakes! Great end to a night.
Thanks mom and dad for such a fun weekend! We had the best time ever! Love you.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

We spent New Years Eve in Utah this year. It was so much fun to be able to play in the snow for a week, but I am happy to be back home to a warm winter.

Craig and I are so excited for what this next year will bring.

Christmas Time / Engagements

Craig and I spent Christmas Eve and part of Christmas day with my family this year. It is so nice to be home, I love the feeling of going home to family members. All my mom's side of the family came over Christmas Eve and we all hung out, opened presents and played games all night. Christmas morning I was the first to wake up because our darling puppy Amigo was hungry so he was whining to eat. After eating I opened my parents door and let Amigo wake them up as well. It is so funny how much Amigo is like a little kid, I think he was really excited for Christmas. Santa brought him lots of presents this year. Christmas morning was great!
Craig and my dad got jerseys with tickets to the Cardinals and Suns game.My mom and dad, so in love.My grandpa! I love him so much.My dad is just like a kid. He got an XBOX and Wi for Christmas. Please tell me what father wants to play Halo and Call of Duty?
Later Christmas day we headed over to his families house. Best part was probably talking to Derek, he sounds so good. It is amazing what a mission can do to a 19 year old boy. He has changed SO much and we are so proud of the man he is becoming. He has a strong testimony and a great love for the people he serves. Anytime at the Breinholt's is always so much fun and there is always so many people over there. Craig's Aunt and Uncle came over with their kids and we enjoyed a nice Christmas dinner and lots of games!
We were both so spoiled this Christmas by our loving parents and family members. I can't believe how generous our parents were to us this year. We are so thankful for everything and thankful to know that we can be with our families forever! We both have the best families and are so grateful for their love and support.

The greatest gift we have recieved is the gospel. My life would be lost without it. I am thankful for this Christmastime to reflect on the Savior and to understand the true meaning of Christmas. I love the Savior with all my heart and love the real relationship I have with Him. I know He lives.

Now to the engagements. I AM SO EXCITED.
TWO OF MY BEST FRIENDS GOT ENGAGED ON THE SAME NIGHT!!!

Tiffani has been one of my best friends since 6th grade. We grew up together in ahwatukee. We have laughed, cried, and found the gospel together. She is an amazing girl and I have watched her grow so much this past year. She is such a strong beautiful girl and I admire her strength to overcome trials. It has been hard having Justin away on his mission but they will be so blessed for his decision to serve the Lord. Tiffani and Justin have been together for the past 6 years (crazy I know) and were literally always destined to be together. They will be sealed for all time and eternity in September!

Ashley has been my sisto princess best friend for that past two years. I always joked that she was my missionary and I was waiting for her to come home. We are so much alike and I look up to her in so many ways. She just got back from serving a mission in Cincinnati, Ohio this past year and now is ENGAGED. I could not be more happy for her. Mike is the perfect guy! Mike and I have been friends for about the same time and I could not have picked two people to be more perfect for each other than them!! They will be sealed for all time and eternity in May!

I could not be more happy for my two beautiful friends! They are both amazing and I am so excited for them to start their journey together as a married couple. While growing up we always joked about getting married and having our kids together! Now it is all happening and I could not be more excited!

Welcome to the (almost) married club ladies!
